Tribute To The Gallery

About This Project

In 1973, DJ Nicky Siano borrowed $5000 and opened his own version of David Mancuso’s The Loft. This club, The Gallery, shaped dance music culture and raised the party bar forever. Thanks to DJhistory.com and Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, I’ve pieced together a collection of the Gallery’s top 50 songs, compiled by Nicky himself.

This set was recorded live on September 21st, 2011, at the Smoke and Barrel Tavern for DJ EJ’s Wheels of Steel radio program. Here’s the entire set, unedited, for your enjoyment.
